Who I am?

What would you explain to someone who asks, who are you? Often we hear answers like this:
I am a businessman, I am an accountant, I am a trader, I am a mathematics teacher, I am a singer, I'm an unemployed, etc..
Do we know of that identity? That is something we do every day, our job. Eg Pak Umar, because every day he's dealing with the satay, then he was asked 'who are you', he would answer satay seller. Then he'd nicknamed 'Umar Sate. This was to distinguish with Umar Barber, for his work as a barber hair.
Someone will be known by their doing. In fact, the identity of a person will together with his work.

This is actually very vulnerable and dangerous, because we could lose our jobs any time. Very scary if we are unified identity with our work, because if we lose our jobs, our identity will lose too.
There are several options to do so is not easy to lose our identity. If we want to be recognized for what we do, then choose something that will not be lost. That is a job that gives happiness and joy to others. Joy and happiness are could not disappear.
Eg builders sate. That he was known, not only to merely artisans sate. Satay seller was friendly to buyers. Maybe her satay just mediocre, but the hospitality made it known to many people and many people remember it. Hospitality make different.
Maybe we are mediocre, but we have more value because it provides something inherent in people's hearts. Often we are known for what we make. So let's do it well, by adding a smile and kindness, by giving the love in our work. Surely we will be known not only for our jobs, but because we give something good in every work, that good value.
Even Jesus did not want to explain who himself when asked by a disciple of John. He only asks that people see the excitement and joy that he brought, which is felt by people with Jesus.
Now, what would you tell if someone asks you, "who are you?"
